Rafael started his career in Brazil, working as a Financial Analyst for IBM, and then moved to the Finance and Banking sector 3 years later to assume the position of Investment Manager. He has a Bachelor of International Affairs and holds two Masters degrees: one in Project Management (Fundação Getulio Vargas, Sao Paulo, Brazil) and another in Applied Finance (Western Sydney University).
Rafael joined the Risksmart team in 2019 and bringing his extensive experience in financial analysis, data management, and statistical modelling to the business. As Risksmart’s Claims Data Analyst, he is responsible for creating claims forecasting models, generating financial reports, and works directly with clients, assisting with the implementation of new data collection techniques.
